Thanks for doing these clive. 3 really tricky away games in August. But, at least that really means that any points is a success (of sorts). I'm quite excited about them. It's the hooe that kills

Austin price drop.
at 08:01 9 Aug 2015

Criticism of Austin is hugely unfair. He's a great striker and would score goals playing in any team in the premier league. In a world where Benteke is more than 30 million and Sterling nearly 50 then he's worth at least 15 million.

Any QPR fans criticising his character are wrong. He got us promoted, he did everything he could to keep us up, he scored a last minute winner with a dislocated shoulder. He has done everything he can for QPR.

We should all wish him well and thank him for what he's done for our club. Yesterday he just wasn't given the service.

I like the look of Furlong; Onuoha, Caulker and Yun. There's not going to be too many championship teams with a better back 4

Formation
at 10:47 22 Jul 2015

4-2-3-1 would work;

We're light in defence but Onuoha, Caulker and Hill have good Rangers appearance records and I like the look of a Furlong, Onuoha, Caulker, Yun back 4.

Defensive midfield (2): Faurlin, Henry, Doughty, (Diakite & Sandro)
Attacking Midfield (3): Gladwin, Luongo, Mackie, Chery, Petrasso, Sutherland, (Hoilett, Phillips, Fer)
Striker (1): Polter, Grego-Cox, Emmauneul Thomas (Austin)

If those 6 in brackets leave though then we are light.

But, it is worth remembering that in our title winning team we had a relatively small squad and a large number of players played more than 35 games that season. Kenny, Orr, Gorrks, Connolly, Hill, Derry, Faurlin, Taarabt, Helguson, Mackie/Routledge, Smith etc.

Any thoughts on a formation Ramsey might stick with this season?

It's been 4-4-1-1 so far in pre-season but I think our squad is better suited to 4-2-3-1. Any thoughts?

If's and But's

If Rangers beat Everton on Sunday and Sunderland lose at West Ham and Burnley lose at Southampton I think we'll stay up.

When was the last time three results went our way?

IF those results happen it'll build a big confidence going into two big games in Birmingham in one week.

I still believe.

Squad

Firstly, I think QPR's players should be praised for not giving up yesterday.

I just don't think we've found the best formation for the team we have. I think we'll do better if have a more solid base in front of our defence and can then feed our more creative players -like Stoke, Swansea, Aston Villa and Southampton have all done so far.

QPR: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeepers: Robert Green, Alex McCarthy, Brian Murphy.

Defenders: Yun Suk Young, Armand Traore, Mauricio Isla, Max Ehmer, Richard Dunne, Clint Hill, Rio Ferdinand, Steven Caulker, Nedum Onuoha.

Defensive Midfielders: Joey Barton, Karl Henry, Jordan Mutch, Sandro.

Attacking Midfielders: Leroy Fer, Niko Krancjar, Eduardo Vargas, Adel Taarabt, Junior Hoilett, Matt Phillips, Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Strikers: Charlie Austin, Bobby Zamora.

1st XI: Green; Isla, Caulker, Ferdinand, Yun; Barton, Sandro; Vargas, Fer, Krancjar; Austin.

2nd XI: McCarthy; Onuoha, Dunne, Hill, Traore; Henry, Mutch; Phillips, Taarabt, Hoilett; Zamora.

Murphy, Ehmer, Wright Phillips.

Maybe I will come off the board then Dylan. Just once maybe try believing in it. Try it, once in a while. It's good to be positive - good for the soul.

Most likely we'll be playing a 4-3-3 when attacking and 4-5-1 when defending.

I actually believe we have a very balanced, versatile squad who can fit into a number of systems of play. Many of our players can play a few different positions if needed. I've not included Ehmer because I don't actually know where across the defence he plays. i've never seen him play.

Right backs: Isla and Onuoha
Centre backs: Ferdinand, Caulker, Dunne, Onuoha, Hill
Left Back: Hill, Yun, Traore
Defensive Midfielders: Barton, Sandro, Mutch, Fer, Henry
Attacking Midfielders/ Wingers: Hoilett, Phillips, Krancjar, Taarabt, Fer, Wright-Phillips, Traore, Mutch, Vargas.
Lone Striker: Austin, Zamora, Vargas, Taarabt

Any negativity regarding the squad must stop now. It was an excellent window and one I'm hugely proud of.

I think Yun is injured so I'd stick with Traore
Fer is so unfit right now and I think Faurlin is our best midfield option
Also, I am unsure why we;re giving up on Remy - I'd play him every time.
Green; Onuoha, Ferdinand, Caulker; Isla, Barton, Faurlin, Mutch, Traore; Austin, Remy.
