It's all nonsense to generate money - mainly for the TV companies.
Sporting success should lead to sporting benefit -ie. the teams who achieve the highest points total ( top 3 ) get promoted.
I do realise that we the fans are no longer the TV companies concern, as they get more revenue through their subscription customers. It still feels wrong to reward sporting failure like finishing 8th.
I have enjoyed our play-off successes and been hurt by our failures, but my opinion is they should not exist. |

I started watching Saints as a 7 year old in 1974, and we had red and white stripes, so this will sit well with me. I would also prefer red collars and cuffs, but am happy if we get to use this one! |

We're on a long unbeaten run, putting pressure on those in the play-off places, playing effective football, yet still on the day before the game, we have very nearly 3000 unsold Saints seats at St Marys! Where are the missing supporters ?
