Years of allowing managers and players alike to take the piss in cup matches is the thing that gets me, what did it ever achieve? I think has helped create this very toxic culture of phoning it in.
If the Board/Owners/Finance people want the team to stop phoning it in then they have to lead the culture and take a long hard look in the mirror. Amit doesn't seem half as focused as when Bernie was looking over his shoulder and is constantly distracted by golf and probably needs to get some PR training, Les loved his fashion and travel and it is perceived that he failed to set his 'mates' any clear KPI's, undermined or did he realise that Warbs was right all along and the 'development' cupboard wasn't just bare it never existed and was in fact just a drawing in crayon. Ruben has currently got a family crisis to deal with but is rarely here the rest of the time and seems to know little about championship football anyway nobody really know what he does and Lee loves the sound of his own voice far far to much, and subsequently can't remember what he's already said quite frequently it seems, see transfers.
