Big weekend ahead as second elimination round gives my Warriors a second chance after shi*ting the bed v Dolphins last week. Sold out Eden Park so 50,000 attending and on past few games would back Knights - hoping for much better from them though - last 20mins were like running in treacle.
Roosters should beat Sharks and then all on to see who can knock bloody Panthers over…

Echo Hayes on both Silo & Slow Horses.
Reacher season was daft but good fun & curious how Neagley spin off show goes as she’s been good character in previous Reacher seasons.
Furious on Disney very well acted but tough subject matter.
Will have another crack at Dark Matter on Apple but season one definitely a complicated watch - for me anyway 😀

Mad game vs Knights who played with 12 but still kept scoring. One round to go & Warriors on top by 1pt differential. Nice scenes at Go Media with Cleary family over to see their youngest make his debut at halfback - did well & likely keep his place in final game v Manly.

Very moving thread & life catching too many of us out over past year.
12k miles away but Ted you’ve been regular presence here for over 20yrs since I found LFW & very sad to read your news & wish you well with great carers & close family/friends.
A couple on here reached out when my wife went through cancer now 15yrs ago & appreciated their care.
Like a few others have had my scare last 12mths with melanoma & just through horrible 6wk wait to here latest scans all clear.
Pretty good bunch on this site & following this bloody team has to mean some bond (mental condition) we share & hope we continue to look out for each other
PS - sorry Mart realised not acknowledged you as originator & very best to you & yours as well

Ideally want Martin back but take Metcalf. Weirdly would have better chance of finals ticket if in Sydney than Auckland as only 25k at Go Media.

Not quite booked my trip to Sydney but that was a smashing of last years winners, & beat Panthers as well. Metcalf such a shame but we’ve had two years of it. - hopefully Martin back in fortnight.
Pleased DCE off to UK as he grinds my gears! You get great player & second ref all in one

Pleased he’s made the msg board - much loved here & bit of a shock as seemed to have got through cancer scare.
Just seemed a really good buggar & lot of recent coverage was from his winery & farm where has named livestock after fellow actors. Not sure if Two Paddocks will have made it to UK but nice Pinot Noir.
Great actor & blazed trail for other Kiwi’s to follow.

Wee plug for NZ who lost first test, probably our best ever batsman retired and we ended with probably our 7th/8th bowlers due to injuries to claim series.
Can be very proud of that and good to have different players stepping up when needed.
We’ve given Stokes some stick in past as would have loved him to choose NZ but huge respect for him.
Really curious what happens with McCullum - scoring at 5-6/over in test cricket is fun and no longer days of 240/4 like years gone by but…. There has to be some nuance to it or just looks bloody stupid. Would think he’s gone isn’t he?

We had few days in UK early June before heading to Portugal & Spain and had rain and as low as 14deg - currently mid 30’s in Seville but back to London Thurs so let’s see what impact we can make

Not sure it will have made press up there but Craig Bellamy just gone public with neurodegenerative disease- seeing season out but clearly a shocker. Storm always top4 but very lightweight in defence this season as are Bulldogs.
Dolphins, Tigers and maybe Knights adding fun to proceedings
Nice relaxed weekend with Warriors on a bye & no QPR.

More mixed review from down under - some of it v good but felt like Jamie Lee Curtis was in a different show and way over cooked. Think could settle into good series though. My wife has read the books & struggled a little with the difference.
We’re nearly through Detective Hole from Jo Nesbo books - Norwegian & subtitles but think that is staying close to source material & actor playing Harry is v good.On Netflix

After drab game will bump this thread back up as Warriors beat Melbourne after 17 game, 11 year losing streak! They’ve lost 4 in a row & Bellamy must be about to explode.
Odd week with Panthers getting done after perfect first 5 games, Cowboys doing Broncos & Raiders finding form.
Not finest betting week…

He’s a quality player, not explosive as used to be but smart & great team player.
Been really good back at Warriors & can cover a few positions.
Interviews here suggest he’s after new experience for him/family & doubt just there for pay cheque.

Canberra have the Ricky Stuart issue - bit like Warnock unless he’s yours he’s ever so slightly unlikeable.
NRL is nightmare for having a bet - Storm 90pts in first 2 games then lose at home to 0-2 Broncos.
Hoping my Warriors can keep form going @ Knights minus Ponga & Brown but…

Very pleasant surprise with that performance after getting stuffed by SA earlier in tournament.
We’re lacking in depth & missing some of bigger name players but still finding a way.
Hope another crack at you guys as should’ve won last time up & let slip.
Openers to be at least half as good in final…
