So I finally managed to watch this town and to be honest I wasn’t overly impressed. I expected a bit more of the storyline to focus on the emergence of blue beat. I thought that the various different threads didn’t always hang together and perhaps a greater emphasis could have been given to a smaller number of plots for example the IRA and it’s existence and influence at the time. That said there were som good characters.

Exactly that. I have had a few Leeds united match reaction you tube channels come up on my feed. Honestly the lowest common denominator is sheer arrogance. Reading between the lines they expected to turn and winning was just a matter of course. They clearly haven’t looked at a form table and most of them aren’t at all humble in defeat.

The argument from the Leeds fan is absolute tosh. They clearly haven’t watched us. Farke looked like he was going to implode in the first half. To be honest they had a moment at the start of the second half when they moved the ball more quickly. However when our third went in some of their players sunk. Marti I salute you. COYRS

I went down the ground yesterday after work and met a mate to lay some flowers. The tributes are slowly building up. I am not sure that the club have made this known. Many people don’t live close to the bush. Maybe the club could set up a donation page for an Alzheimer’s charity.

Just started that. Eric meeting Bren who is released from prison on parole . Jimmy trying to pacify Amanda saying that he’ll support her. Michael coming in from the cold fully aware of the implications of his dads release. Frank and Amanda looking very worried. Birdie knowing what’s about to happen. All the while Bren as subtle as an air raid and more interested in reputation than business. I think it’s good

In his defence he defends when required and is probably better than Armstrong at doing this. I don’t think his link up play is anything to write home about. All said his primary role is a striker and his job is scoring goals.

Bloody hell I just watch football dreams which focussed on three twelve year olds over a one year period at the Crystal Palace academy. It was brutal.

I think Armstrong will be used as forward . His pace frightens defenders. I think Willock will play behind him. EBD will feature more in midfield.

I think Dozzell should have done better with the set piece corner. Admittedly he’s striking a moving ball but that would have been worked on.

In tight games chances are few and far between. There were crosses mainly from Smyth and to a lesser extent from Willock. Dykes doesn’t make himself available. In fact he’s often in the wrong position. A mate sent me a message saying that he’s scored two goals in a year. On the plus side he cares and wins the odd knock down for a midfielder but given the direction of the teams travel and style of play he needs to change.
