Possible January signings.
at 20:11 22 Dec 2023

Thank you. I concur!

Considering the complex FFP, rules this could be an opportunity to get some cash in for Field and Chair, even Lyndon.

Dozzell, Dixon-Bonner and Colback can off-set the loss of Sam Field, and I think Chris excels best on the left wing.

Long game

2nd that opinion.

A month and a half ago we would NEVER imagine 29 attempts...with the same squad.

In the interests of rotating...hopefully he was saving Sinclair for the weekend game and Lyndon gets to sit for at least 60min.

THAT!!

1. Paul Smyth has a game for (his international) career and is greeted by a spot on the bench....yet we have no offense.

2. Reference the subject line: The team we have, man for man is FAR better than I thought we would have on September 1st. We CAN do better.

Thank you. Those comments reflect my thoughts.

-Armstrongs pace and power could show best (ala BOS) on the right with LD mopping up.

- Willock/Smyth on the left where i think we know they are most effective. I hope to see Chair deeper behind LD.

Foreshadow? Lewis Wing's CV says he is creative, scores a few from midfield, good with a set piece. ...still sounds like an preamble to a Ilias Chair replacement.

Echoes of David Marshall. Experience maybe critical in maturing a young defense.

Great post. Nice positive reflection after so many less flattering writings. You cannot be unhappy when the morning papers have Dykes upstaging Haaland. And a nice pat on the back for Seny.

Great Article on BBC sports Site today.

Thanks for this site! My impulse control when it comes to opinion on QPR needs an outlet.
But trying to ADD to an intelligent discourse on QPR the team and QPR management is incredibly tough.

I thought the attached article was timely. We are EXTREMELY fortunate to have owners that care and have fed a lot of money into the club. We might be upset by the teams output this year but we are not paying the exorbitant bank note they are to pay to keep QPR treading water. From what I recall reading some months ago, Lee Hoos will be leaving QPR, but I have not seen anything further. Alot of expectation came with that hire but I think we can agree the ROI was not quite what we hoped... even if we had no points deduction.

In short... I hope Billy Beane has a disciple who is willing to invest in QPR.

Players To Keep
at 21:13 2 May 2023

I think a revised core for this group starts with Dieng, Dunne, Jake-Salter, Field and Paal. I hope Drewe matures in a good RB. I hope Ethan Laird can be had as he will never be a Man Utd player.

If I was betting, Dykes is off North of the border. I think Chair would be great in Europe in a less physical league. Both could help our purse. Ditto for Johansen.

Referring to the GA comments on senior players; Adomah and Martin are great shouts less as starters than squad players. Nice to see what he did with Luke Amos and Sinclair (of late). I think he will get a shift out of Kakay.

..occurred to me that Gladwin has many similarities:
- perceived talent to go to next level but not getting there..

1- Les and Ollie represent the club and we love that, but criticism is still healthy.
He has made some choices we don't like and some we do.
2- I for one felt furlong Jr should have been the first choice right back all year.

Great conversation one that I think was needed. With 6 points and less tension your points are better taken. For me, I alluded to the fact in business sooner or later attention turns and no one is immune. That said Dave I can't argue with anything you said.

Factoring in today's results and news - it really does look like our management group will not tolerate slackers and folIs who won't play for the badge. I hope Chery gets us something by way of a good fee. Pp

The point has been made, remade and repeated not just here but one even pundits have chimed in. Despite Holloway knocking it down earlier, I think Kenny Jacket is a good shout and definitely there are others, not just Gerry and Wilkins who are good tacticians.no reason Birch shouldn't stay in the set up as well.
