The article is just a puff piece entirely slanted In Southampton’s favour. Their 4 point deduction for this season is a nonsense: it should have been treble that.
Based on the club’s weak punishment I’d expect the individual punishment to be just as weak, maybe a 10 game ban suspended unless there’s a repeat offence. |

Sad that after an immense 2nd half from our lads that somebody felt the need to start a negative thread about a lad who made a good contribution to our comeback.
And after this week’s numerous ‘Kolli good/Lloyd bad’ posts it’s obvious what the OP was inferring when he decided to start a new thread. |

Ref was weak as hell: Preston have managed to work out you can still massively time waste with a ref like this if he only starts counting down 5 seconds after you’ve spent 45 seconds faffing around before even looking like you might take a goal kic. |

You seem to have lost all sense of rationality when it comes to Kolli.
I know who I believe is better to explain why Kolli isn’t in the first team picture at the moment and it’s the three people who spoke about it at the forum last night and work with him every day, not you. |

A place on the bench should be earned: I trust Jimmy Dunne when he talks about the efforts put in by the squad in training and the players’ desire to prove they deserve a place in the team so allowing someone who clearly isn’t doing enough to be a sub gives off totally the wrong message.
Seems if Kolli gets his head down, works hard in training, gets selected and plays well for the Development team then he might get back in the first team picture: down to him. |

Adel wouldn’t get into ANY modern day team on a regular basis: times have changed. And apart from under Warnock he struggled to get regular football under many other managers. |

Nah it’s not his fault he got to play regularly in the Premier League, same as Tony Roberts. Both were average Championship standard playing way above their level, certainly not amongst our worst ever players.
It’s all opinions anyhow: I thought Kevin Brock was utterly useless, especially as he’d started so well when we battered West Ham away but he totally disappeared in games after that.
And Jan Celar is up there with our worst ever forwards: never looked like scoring ever apart from that one glorious Cardiff away game. And Dowie of course. [Post edited 15 Sep 11:41]

Well done Rangers, another very good away result against a team unbeaten at home and who could have gone top of the table.
Disappointing the match thread is again full of negativity from the usual suspects.
Defence as a unit did very well, thought Varane was good too. |

We were by far the best team and deserved to win that.
Kamara looked a class above, Vale looked dangerous, Mbengue was great when he came on and young Scarlett didn’t look out of place.
Still unbeaten away from home: well done Rangers. |

Most of us think he did well last season, especially as it was his first at this level. His good games definitely outnumbered the bad games which all players will have.
Looks like a mix of loss of confidence, poor fitness and minor injuries to me: all of which can be worked on and improved.
But you seem to think he’s lost his ability or probably never had it. |
