Connor Roberts hasn't really played at a higher level than he would have achieved if he had stayed. Why would we want to sign an aging full back from a team below us?
Ben has played at a higher level but he will be 34. We laughed at the idea of Wrexham signing those sorts of players.
As for Sanches, why him? Can't we ask to have Gibbs-White and Guehi back? [Post edited 13 Sep 8:27]

Where was Iorpenda? He was on the bench on Tuesday when he had just signed, but by Saturday he was out of the squad. Were they not so sure he was ready after taking a closer look? |

No, it's not a Derby just because they are based in Wales. It's a very small minded, insular approach to suggest it is. It's as though every team in England should consider it a Derby if they play another English team. |

They are both good players just not physically cut out for this division
We should recoup most of the money on them.

Ronaldinho is the greatest for me. Football is entertainment, it has no other purpose than to entertain people. There are trophies and competitions but that is just dressing on the theatre. It's purpose is to entertain and there's no greater an entertainer in Football than Ronaldinho. |

Their income is enormous at the moment because of the Netflix series. A season in mid-table is going to be a hard sell to TV Execs deciding on offering them a new contract. No TV income and it could easily come crashing down |

I'm sorry, but, absolutely no chance.
We keep spending a fortune on the same sort of players and not sorting out the spine of the team. Vip is likely to go and Idah is no 20 goal a season striker.
We have no captain to speak of. Our main centre back, who needed replacing, is out injured.
It's another mid-table finish I would think. If we had spent as much money on the back four that we do on Wingers then I'd be a lot more positive |
