It looks like the club have re-adopted the highly effective Jenkins strategy of leaking 'interest' in players that they aren't actually pursuing, whilst getting on with their real targets in total silence.
The amusing consequence of these leaks is an immediate follow up by WoL that Wrecsam will be moving to outbid Swansea and Cardiff are about to move in and trump our efforts. They probably aren't even slightly interested either.
Still, it gives WoL something to aim at in their efforts to do damage. Stops them doing anything that might matter. Meanwhile some bloke is getting told "Look there's 3 EFL Championship clubs chasing you!" to which he can say he's not interested. |

I have long thought that we need an independent body to analyze and grade referee's performance, without bias or favour. Every club can name referees who will give them a raw deal, every time. The way to expose that is with neutral analysis and numbers, and then pressure the FA to not assign a referee to matches where the numbers show that they just don't like one of the teams playing.
If nothing else, it would make referees think about their performance in ways that they clearly don't now. |
