But if he gets banned for 6 months or a year, all Tonda will do is get another job in Germany.or somewhere else in the world, whilst we lose a really good manager. The FA can't ban him in other countries as far as I am aware.
So Tonda won't actually have any punishment in that case? Meanwhile, Saints have had minus 4, thrown out of play offs and losing our manager. |

The thing is though, if it was Tonda's fault then he should get punished and not the club. Why should the club get a punishment as well as Tonda? The club have alreadt been pinished severely, so not sure why both the club and Tonda ger punished. |

Depends on the context I suppose. Didn't go yesterday, but driving through Birmingham for.our game was very depressing. It was dirty, impoverished, beggars, a few pigs hanging from shop fronts, boarded up buildings, graffiti. It did indeed look like a 3rd world country. That'd just the truth isn't it? But context is everything. |

And why did she let him in? The ticket conditions clearly state home fans only. I would have kicked up a big fuss and had him thrown out. Once or twice I have videoed interactions like this. I showed the steward that if they didn't throw them out, I would send the video evidence to the club and the newspapers, to show stewards allowing away fans in and not doing their job properly. Most fans of other clubs, who sit in the home end, mostly show respect as they are proper fans. As proper fans who support their local club, they understand and behave as they should. The tourists, the glory hunters who don't go to many games, arn't really supporters, turn up and don't understand the passion or how you should behave. They are just arrogant gimps who think they are clever supporting a top club, people who live locally who use their local post code to see "their top club" in one game. Exactly right. Whenever these top clubs play in Europe, I generally want them to lose precisely because of their pathetic, glory hunting fans that show the total disrepect as seen in the clip. I have never seen so many Arsenal shirts about, just beacuse they are currently a great side. I see very very few Man U shirts. Just wait until Arsenal arn't as good, and these idiots go and buy the shirt of the next team that is at the top. I was sat in the Kingsland north when we played Arsenal in the PL. One Arsenal fan jumped up and cheered like crazy when they scored. We soon got him out and down those stairs, before the dozy stewards eventually woke up and chucked him out, once we had got him all the way down to the exit. To.our fans credit, there were loads of Saints fans joining in with "getting him out". Utter udiots. |

Just because they won the league, people everywhere supporting Arsenal and getting in the home end. Seem to remember Arsenal fans in with Everton fans, and now turning up in home sections and being totally disrespectful.
Those fans likely arn't from London. Probably local people gettong cheap cheap cup tickets. Why don't they support their local club? Ipswich are in the PL. What tw@ts winding up the very people they likely live in amongst. Just f@ck off to your super league and then let"s see how many of these glory hunting idiots travel to America and Dubai. No you needed to have been to one game in the last 5 years, no membership needed to shift those £55 tickets. As soon as Saints removed the need to be a member and need to have been to a game this season, the tickets started to shift. Same restrictions for when we played Liverpool and Arsenal and unfortunately tourists then get in. I don't think any Pompey would get in or would want to be in with us, but there might some people in the £55 seats who very rarely go, and fancied watching a big game, as those £55 tickets in particular didn't get sold until the very final few days when they loosened the restrictions.
The 30 is plenty campaign came about in the PL because yes games sold out at 50 or 60 quid a ticket, but the most loyal fans or local fans couldn't afford to go. Selling games out doesn't mean the pricing is right, only from a business sense. You want your most loyal and passionate fans at games, not tourists who will buy the most expensive tickets. Matsuki was outstanding today. He has noticeably strengthened his physicality. He holds off players with real strength and powers forward. He is a really good player and could become a real star. |

Exactly mate and that's the point isn't it. Some people can't afford £40, £50 a ticket and then again after a few days, especially for a family of 4 or more. But Pompey has sold out with some tickets at £55. A proportion of passsionate Saints fans, who can't afford that, won't be there and will be replaced by day trippers in certain areas. The club sells.out, or nearly sells out, that's why they charge those prices, same in the PL charging Saints fans £80 for the top 6. They sell to.tourists, but it doesn't make it right. Maybe quite a few on here think £55 is nothing and is okay for all of our passionate fans who desperately want to go, but can't afford it, oh well!
The point is, charge cheaper prices and you get the most loyal, most passionate fans at every game with sell outs. Charge higher prices, and quite a few tourists or day trippers will buy the tickets, and near sell.outs but the club get their money... [Post edited 12 Sep 12:30]
