I think two things can be true: Chair acted unacceptably and should be judged and held accountable for his actions. He faced the consequences of his actions and did face criminal proceedings of which he was found guilty and had the appropriate sentence. He is fortunate that his job does not automatically fire you for having a criminal record. If he is looking for a move, fair play to him. He's been here for years, and is hardly agitating disruptively. If that changes, then we can judge him. As it is, he is someone who made a mistake, faced the consequences, and wants to progress his career. |

I agree. While other commenters have said we should be a few goals ahead, I don't think we've created the chances for that. We've looked threatening but not got the shots away. Hopefully Kone can change that. |

I think if it the push genuinely put him down then it's a pen but it looked to me like he went down very easily. Equally can't say I could quote the roles though so could be wrong. |

I think the pen would have been quite soft to be fair. But equally I appealed to the TV and have seen them given. We're playing quite well and Blackburn looks lacklustre, so a 2-0 loss on the cards. |

These substitutions don't feel defensive, Morgan has done well at right back but is he going to sure us up. I guess he's not as prone to head loss as Mbengue. Kolli can chase the ball more than Kone with fresh legs. |

We've objectly been really good, this isn't a dire performance, we've just switched off twice to keep hull in the game. Brilliant equaliser once again. Let's stay focused and win this one now. |

We're not playing well, but two poor free kick goals conceded makes the scoreline look a lot worse. Unfortunately, saying we'd be a lot better with a different keeper doesn't help when we're stuck with said keeper until January |

Nardi should have probably done better there. Esquerdinha and Vale both giving the ball away a lot and don't seem to be offering much. Not that the rest of the team is amazing but they seem to be the worst offenders. |

Cheers for all the help and advice, will probably invest in an annual subscription to save myself from dodgy streams and oppo comms. |

Does anyone know if QPR Plus lets you buy and watch a video subscription if you use a VPN to a dark market country, or does it try and block it like Netflix does if you use a VPN. Any help much appreciated. |

Sadly I agree. I wish there was a quick fix to our problems. A better CEO who was less pretentious and ran the club better, a new stadium, and better finances, but I don't see how it's possible. Two things can be true. The club can have existed in chaotic mediocrity since relegation, with the ownership making numerous mistakes, including our current leadership infantilising the fans and taking us for granted. Yet there is no obvious alternative. Someone else would try the same as Nourry is. They might build a slightly better balanced squad. They might communicate better. Equally they might not, and things could get worse. Another manager might make the tactics slightly better, and get the team selection perfect. But equally they might not. But get all of this right and we maybe move slightly up mid-table. Without an incredibly lucky season we won't get promoted. Without significant financial progress, which Nourry has correctly identified as only being viable by player sales or stadium development, we are stuck where we are. In which case, we can hope for improvement over the long term, but sadly I think lower mid-table relegation flirting is what we've got for a while. I hope we can financially improve our situation we can start looking up again. The interest in Varane suggests that however frustrating and infuriating this model is, there may be light at the end of a very long tunnel. I am terrified that justified anger at the leadership and ownership could instead lead to an alternative in which this club collapses and no longer exists. I think we are in an existential battle for survival as a club, and the success of Nourry's model, unfortunately, is the most likely way this club staves off a major financial problem brought on by relegation. Maybe I'm wrong, I hope I am and that I am being pessimistic about the underlying club and that the foundations are stronger than I think. |
