jesus what happened to him, it was like watching his never kicked a ball before geography teaching twin brother last night, after 10 minutes the team were too scared to pass to him, not only did he give it away with most touches he kept putting them in 4 v 3

What a class midfield pair these two are, absolutely dominated the midfield especially first half, ably supported with Luongo putting in his best performance for some time. Been a long time since I've seen us push the ball around like that one touch passing, driving runs with purpose, a bite and edge in the tackle. Freeman for me absolutely signing of the season

Currently buried away on iplayer had a limited release in the cinema a couple of weeks ago and was reviewed on Mayo and Kermode
This will blow your head off. Its the story of the Stuxnet malware virus and the secret Cyber war arms race that has been going on for the last 10 years with a destructive capability akin to Nuclear.
It might seem on paper quite dry but is actually a very entertaining and powerful real world spy / intelligence doc.

Those loans have done him some real good. Was outstanding on the night and only pipped for MOTM by Pavel. Great partnership potential there. Thought whole team was excellent. Best performance of the season maybe
|The 3 year contract - stick or twist time...|

Interesting to hear people bemoan the club doing exactly what those same people were saying we should be doing.
18 months ago we signed a load of players that were either from abroad or "hungry" young players.
Most of these would be on 3 year contracts. So we get to 18 months gone with 18 months to go and the club has a choice. They do one of three things
1. Renew a contract which will mean increased wages for that player in most cases, or a period of being unsettled while that is negotiated
2. Sell , So in the case of Polter and Chery probably not going to get a longer term both looking to move on they only have value really between 2 years and 18 months left unless they are tearing up trees, Smithies unless he signs a new contract you are probably going to sell knowing you've got a ready made back up
3. Run the contract down this is carries the most risk to both the club and the player unless the player is doing well
That is the reality of modern football though, which is why we will turn over another 5 or 6 players this window maybe a few perms and a few loans

Jesus Christ. We've gone from being dull and solid, to being the easiest team in the league to play against.
Pretty much raised the white flag from the start. Absolutely no belief in what they are doing. Luongo and Chery had absolute stinkers as did Bidwell Lynch Washington , Yeni

No leadership, no talisman, no goals. Now no confidence, no idea of a best starting eleven or formation. Top scorer has 4.
A horrible run of games coming up

Lot better had enough clear cut chances to win. Not an advocate of 4-4-2 but think both Polter and Sylla have to start. Both Poles impressed Caulker probably MOTM. Weak links for me are both full backs and Hall had a poor game. Not overly impressed with Smithies again either

Had the total privilege of working with him when I was a runner at Maison Rouge 20 years ago. A total legend of a producer, who made the Beatles what they were. He was a total gent to me in the week he was in.
