Cabango is a good championship player but I’m unsure he has the credentials to be involved in most games this season that would see a promotion. Same for Fulton. He’s played incredibly well this season but when we come unstuck like Southampton he offers little in response. Just my opinion.
I will be back working with Keith as I am between jobs so no contract to breach. |

Ive seen the link Colin sent. Borderline breaching that forums terms and conditions. I see two were standing up for a certain Wales On Line journalist and then outing as you put it the club talking to Wales On Line.
However, since the person in the photo from Monday has been confirmed as a player of Swans interest, sighted on the players bus, and minutes after Tom Coleman stated no medicals were booked and no signings were happening one turned up they seemed to gave buttoned their mouths.
I’m yet to see one person posting on these forums say who they are. There’s not a lot of them but not one (bar those two we can’t mention until their disposal is known) has ever put their names forwards. And I think we all know why. Looking forward to the global jacks meet up, in Swansea, how much closer can you be ? |

It’s been a week of announcements for sure.
I’ve been with the Indy for a few years now, initially as an 18 year old and then taking up a three year journalism course I’ve reached a crossroads. Keith has done all of my continual professional development and assisted me greatly especially on those nights when it seemed an endless slog. In turn I offered my limited writing ability, but I hope it has improved for those who keep in touch and sent me a lot of encouragement.
This is by far and away the best Swans site, it offers diverse opinion and reflects very little issues between posters which are immediately stamped on. There will always be some. But never like other websites. My kid brother is 14 and I have no issue in letting him browse the forums, they are that well moderated.
The one thing I want to point out is that the incredible sources this site has developed are of the highest standard. Keith keeps very sound confidences and I didn’t realise the recording of information was so intense. The issues that are well managed from what has been a handful of idiots on social media have all come as a result of their instigation, and you want to see the records on that. From that I have learned so much in accountability and retaining information, evidential tagging and the importance of transparent record keeping.
What I am trying to say is I now live in Yorkshire, have passed my driving test and now have what I think is a top job and again thanks to this websites contacts via a very well respected journalist who took interest in the Swans when those dark days nearly lost us the club. Before my time just about. I am going to continue assisting where I can with research, I love that side of the work here, but have a contract regards my work and writing and attending games. In fact in time I hope to be reporting on premier league football. That means it isn’t goodbye totally but a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for this websites professional help. The magic it does including for the brain tumour charity is exceptional.
Of course I’m a Swans fan, albeit an English one with a father who is also English and a Swans fan. I’ll be around of course. But it’s a new chapter in a very exciting life ahead. Thanks for your support, you know who you are. YJB Lee.

Being someone who was born and bred English I still find the Welsh team far more interesting to watch and their success gives me far more pleasure than England. Being annual underdogs maybe ? I would put it down to being a Swans fan all my life (my father who is also English is as well) He attended Swansea Uni in the late 90’s and got the bug at the old Vetch from the first game he went to. I’m unsure if being English matters though. I know three Scottish born and bred Swans fans personally, they don’t think it’s an issue either and go to numerous Welsh fixtures. |
