"Nathan Dyer played all 46 games in our promotion season. His stats? 2 goals and 7 assists (4,004 minutes).
Eom has played in 43 games this season and has 2 goals and 5 assists (2,381 minutes).
No-one was questioning Dyer's place in the team that season. Yes it would be lovely for Eom to add more goals to his game, but it's disingenuous to suggest that's the only thing that matters."
Those are interesting figures that I hadn't considered. It's also worth noting that wingers had a lot more freedom then. I've said that Eom's overall contribution isn't reflected in the stats, but I hadn't realised how close his stats were to one of our more successful wide men in recent years. |  |

In fairness to him and to our other wide players, we haven't really utilised a style of play in recent seasons that requires a winger to take a man on. They usually just cut inside or pass it back.

Yes, I can assure you that there will be nothing of the sort happening. He has a legacy and bar all the personal and confidential information on there he doesn’t want any eyes on the inner sanctum, much the same as us here. The only way another forum could be done will be started from scratch it won’t be using Phil’s site. That closes as he stated.
If something new does transpire they will soon come to realise that running even a starter forum is tiring and draining. The world is full of people offering others to do the hard work. There’s very few who actually do it. Phil’s made his mind up and good for him. I can’t imagine what destruction certain people would cause to his legacy, some of course who are responsible for his decision.

I like them both, but Dyer achieved more and was excellent for most of his time here, Eom been great this season, but he doesn't rate as high as Nathan for me no where near.
