In my opinion, I don’t necessarily disagree with you SanMarco and wonder whether they simply couldn’t/can’t sack him.
Why? Because I never subscribed to the idea that at the time those above Tonda were unaware of what was going on. To use an old expression ( used originally by Lyndon Johnson when he was the president of the U S A ), “ its better to have disgruntled people inside the tent pissing out rather than outside the tent pissing in”.
If Tonda knows where some skeletons are buried, it’s far better from the owners point of view to back him, see what the punishment is and if necessary fail to renew his contract when it expires, I believe in a years time. |

Your reports just lately are much more balanced and more inclined to criticise certain aspects rather than previously, when you gave the impression that it was almost a sin to fault anything the Club’s Owners, Management and team did.
Personally, irrespective of the Tonda outcome, I consider that when taken with the four point deduction we currently simply don’t have the players to obtain a top two place.
We will finish top eight and then it’s anybody’s guess I suspect.

It’s nothing to do with T H B or Tonda.
It’s everything to do with Sports Republic’s Owners and Board Level Management who by close of play this coming Tuesday could be £25 to £30 million better off if a deal with Villa goes through.
Are they going to risk losing the money by allowing T H B to play and possibly get an injury that deprives them of much needed income. Of course not.

A totally bizarre, misguided and unfathomable pricing decision which appears to have come back and bitten the club on the rear end.
West Ham have sold their complete allocation of just over 3000 tickets and will no doubt be in full voice to encourage their team into the next round. What will they be up against ? Ten thousand saints fans scattered to the winds in a stadium with one stand completely empty.
Doesn’t it occur to anyone at the club that the whole idea tonight is to give themselves every opportunity of winning the game and progressing to the next round where more income will be available ?
Colburn above is entirely correct. Tonight’s game was a heaven sent opportunity for the club to give something back to its fans with a sensible pricing structure to partially compensate for the end of last season’s tomfoolery.At very little if any cost to the club and they blew it.
Minor point only Nick and if I’m wrong please tell me, but I don’t think that your figure of £75 for a couple and their two children includes the booking fee of £2.00 a tickets which would then make the total cost £83. |

Ramsdale’s salary is suggested to be £120000 per week with a contract buy out clause of £25 million.
£6 million a year for one players salary ( roughly all of the revenue from season ticket sales ) is ridiculous and simply not sustainable for a Championship club such as ourselves.He needs to be moved on very quickly if we are going to make any progress in the current window.
If no other club wants to buy or loan him and he sits out his contract ( which he is perfectly within his rights to do ) we are in big trouble financially. |

Given that it’s suggested that we pay him £120000 a week, a figure which is frankly ludicrous for a Championship club he needs to go a s a p.
The question is will any Premier League team now buy a keeper who has previously been relegated from the top flight three times with three different clubs ?
As for Charles, he deserves to play at the top level and I expect next season he will do so. |
