What kit at Derby

Hope you’re right.
Incidentally, has any team wearing a pink shirt ever had a good season? Stumbled on a few games this season and they’re always taking a good hiding.

That does work, but it really does depend on your overall situation.
One neighbour, having got caned on care fees and subsequently lost that parents house to care fee costs, bought a 3 bed detached and converted into a 6 bed property. Expensive I know but his parents sold their property and pooled the money. They then put in a simple partition to create a 4 bed and 2 bed house, with the parents ‘paying’ a rent to live there.
Essentially the parents live in a lovely house, rent free in essence, knowing dementia fees won’t be an issue and their kids get to live in luxury until they pop their clogs and then live the rest of it in a six bed home.
There will have been time issues I guess but they did it before any illness had manifested itself.
Having a mum who went through 6 years of dementia, where her only lucid thoughts were about seeing her home ‘disappearing’ just to keep her in a place she didn’t want to be, do whatever it takes to square your own situation. Best of luck.

Watched WBA in the week and they ran Blackpool ragged, poor finishing cost them 2 points against a side we were fortunate to get one.
They’re not pretty but I wouldn’t fancy meeting them in play offs if we made it.

It’s noticeable that midweek attendances have been 3-4000 short of weekend attendances.
Suspect the new WFH culture having a large effect on that. It’s one thing making the effort at weekends but if you’re coming from any distance away, as many do these days, midweek is not so conducive.
For the record, my immune system seems to have gone to pot since we had a grandson, so forced to watch the game from space or wherever Sky record it.

I thought this was going to be about incompetent policing of fans at LR.

The way we set out to play requires enormous concentration from every player over the whole 90 minutes and I suspect the downside of that is you’ll get the occasional stand out error.
The balancing act is keeping those to a minimum, making the opposition tire of chasing the ball, then taking the relatively few number of chances.
It’s fascinating to watch, long may it continue.

It’s all about capitalism and the lengths people will go for money and power.
You’ll love it.

Not an advocate of banning people but the gratuitous use of capital letters could be the exception.

Get the impression he simply wasn’t happy here and doesn’t want to put himself through it again. Best for all sides if we unload and write off a significant portion of the said £2 million.

We’re good but I’m not sure equipped to give out thumping wins.
So many police

Totally agree. I’d imagine it’s a hellishly difficult place to police outside the ground so why don’t the police tell Rangers to keep the away fans inside the ground for games like these until we’ve dispersed. As you say, could easily walk them down to Wood Lane station and get them out of W12.
I’m also a little disappointed that Rangers are playing the health and safety aspect when there’s a man lying in a coma. If they’d smashed up the away end, send Luton the bill to cover it.
The EFL needs a television deal, but not like this – Preview

Let’s not forget, Sky came along like a fairy godmother, granted the clubs huge amounts of money the like of which they’d never seen… and the clubs in the EFL promptly pissed every last penny of it, and some, on the players and nothing else.
Look around our stadium, it’s the same place as I sat in 35 years ago, minus the cosy bar we used to have for SAR season ticket holders.
And you wonder why Sky treat EFL clubs like a bunch of inbreds.

Why I’ve stopped watching qualifying games and to think we have to have two week breaks four times a season so we can cram 7 games every 21 days for this rubbish.
