Re Bromley.
Saw a really god film on Netflix.
Called The Bromley Boys.
A true story about Bromley F.C under threat of going into liquidation. A young fan sets of on a mission to keep the club alive.
Despite the chairman at the time wanting them to go under because his buisness is bankrupt and can no longer afford to keep it going.

The inevitable Trump v Ronnie Semi.
That is exactly why we love live sports events so much you just never know.
Apart from us on here most people interested in football expected .mighty Leeds to turn up go through the motions grab a couple of goals and take 3 points home.
I am not an avid follower of snooker so i have never heard of 2 of the semi finalist but for me that makes it more interesting to see how it pans out.
Stuart Bingham having won it before should have the experience but these new breed dont seem to have any fear
In the past few years there have been multiple winners of the Darts tournaments instead of Taylor unless he had a bad day..
Now we are safe i can relax and ilm looking forward to watching the semi and final. |

Name any fan in that position who doesnt look at tbe League table to see which other teams are in contention for the places.,

Ignored the coaches warning can work both ways.
When Brian Clough was Leeds manager.
They were playing QPR .
Some of the senior players who had won the league title and F A Cup.
Asked Cloughie what .should we do about Stan Bowles.
He said "Dont worry about him"

Totally agree i sit in front row LU.
Right above the penalty spot.
Grest view of everything from there.
Although it been hard to watch the Rs failbto score at that end so often , while the oppo seem to manage it very easily.

I dont know what happened i wrote the text and sent it.
So here i go again.
A word of caution.
I posted a similar motivational text the day before the first game of the season at Watford. Due to the vitriolic comments about the manager and the abysmal pre season games.
I asked the fans to go to Watford ,let them and our players know that we are there getting fully behind the team.and the manager..
Also give Gareth about 10 games to find out which is his best team and formation.
Because we as Rs fans are like a family that needs to pull together in adversity.
I could hear the Rs fans from outside and was delighted everbody seemed to be pulling together.

The Beautiful Game.
Its about an ex football scout who gets a group of homeless men together to play in the
Homeless World Cup.
4 players a side 14 minute matches
A really moving story about how these men became homeless, and yet gelled together to form a team .
Absorbing story thoroughly enjoyed it. |

Very sad news.
I knew Peter and Trevor from going up and down the country on the coaches in the 60s and all through the 70s.
They were always friendly , and made sure everyone was looked after, in some hostile situations sometimes.
Rangers through and through.
Will be remembered fondly by many of us older Rs.
