Just had this one booming whilst I was in the David Gower and thinking back 33 odd years.
Sending it out as a huge Happy Birthday to an absolute top mate of mine, the one, the only Trigger, a Season ticket holder in Ellerslie. Happy 50th mate. Absolutely gutted my burst out of retirement at your party tomorrow has been cancelled... we'll do it soon old chap.
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Great choices. The uncompromising CJ.
First heard Camargue on Colin Faver’s show on Kiss many moons ago. Had the pleasure of meeting Colin once, he was such a nice bloke, spent ages chatting with us. Sadly missed.

Loved his show on Kiss. Massive influence on me. Very sad he's not around anymore.

Yeah, me too. From memory wasn’t it Thursday night, with Colin Dale first and then Faver? Back then Kiss was incredible really; Cold Cut, Manasseh, Norman and Joey Jay, Gilles P, Patrick Forge. Weatherall used to step in and do the odd show. I’m sure there’s others I’ve forgotten.

it's been almost 2 months now but just wanted to post in tribute to Metropolis (Ebow Graham) of Foreign Beggars who died far too soon at the age of 40
I only saw them on their farewell tour in Sheffield last autumn alongside Skinnyman. They were still very good! Was supposed to be their farewell tour after almost 20 years of music, sadly it was more of a farewell than anyone would have thought

My memory a bit hazy but think it was Faver first than Dales Abstract show after. All blurs into one..lol Had loads of tapes of both. When Kissfm was good.
"and that was Horsepower off the ravesignal 3 EP , a new R&S release from Belgium...." So many tunes he played went on to become stone cold classics Funnily enough after that track he played this.. which happens to be my latest record i bought and intend to play Saturday.
Dale and Favor made their first name cool, that takes some doing.... and I was glad they did!!!!
Many happy memories listening to their shows and sticking them on the C-90’s Clear and vivid images of them being the backdrop to much of my college work.
Kiss was the nuts back then. Cool, fresh, still felt underground but you didn’t need two coat hangers and 4 metres of earth wire wrapped around your fm aerial to get a crackly signal

I've actually still got a few tapes of them from 90-91. The first day of Legal Kiss was 1 September 1990, We beat the scum 1-0 (Dixon missed a penalty) and I went on the best holiday ever to Kavos with a case full of Chipie, Chevignon, Togs Unlimited and Timberland.
A girl I met on holiday thought I worked in a clothes shop, nicest thing anyones ever said to me lol
That summer of 1990 seemed to last forever, Once the football season was over spent lots of weekends up the shops in central London, Swank (Soho), Graduate (St Christophers Place), The Chevignon shop in the middle of Soho, Nik Nak for Tims, John Anthony (Shatsbury avenue) for a bit of SI or Armani, Mash for some naughty flared jeans Aquito and Joe Bloggs Lovely
Happy Days :-)

Unless I'm mistaken this is my first Frankie Friday thread post.
It's like stepping over into another dimension.
I'm not totally sure what the rules are but hopefully you all approve!
Heard this earlier on. Wicked tune.
