Completely unknown territory, two finals would be incredible.

I don't follow as much as I like to, but I'm always taken aback in the football by how shambolic attacking is.

Defence and the middle of the park always look well coached, but teams seem to steam into the final quarter of the pitch and then seem completely bereft of ideas and get really static

Sorry Robith

Sadly, a fair bit of play-acting and ref-swarming has crept into GAA, particularly football. There are ridiculous stories of ref abuse in club games.

I forget which game it was this year, but after a goalkeeper went down holding his face after a push in the chest, a commentator uttered the dreaded phrase, "He'll be disappointed with himself when he sees the replay".

Kerry lucky to be in this game. I still expect Dublin to win this one with ease.

Yep, really all trouble of Dublin's own making I think

Dublin gifted two freak goals and played below par but were still much the better team. They're streets ahead of the rest of us.

Disappointing game overall.

Kerry were atrocious before their goal, players were running into the same channel on the few times they had the ball. Hand the trophy over now.

Fabulous end to a fantastic hurling season. Tipp seemed to have two or three extra men today.

Fine performance. Much the better team. Focus, hunger and skill.

Congrats, Sheen!

Think Tipp may well beat Kilkenny in the hurling though. They've been impressive right the way through so far.

Found today's match very hard to predict. Tipp had the talent but haven't always worked hard enough to make it count. They certainly did today!

Great final. Even at 7 points up with 3 minutes to play Tipp always seemed to believe they could still throw it away which drove them on even more. Beats me why hurling isn't in the Olympics. I'd back Ireland for a medal there.

Can't argue with the result. Tipp much the better side today. Outplayed the Cats in every department.

Fantastic display from Tipp. The interview with "Bubbles" after and his potty mouth was amusing.
Be interesting now to see how Cody reacts to this next year if he remains. Watching the game with KK wife and the inlaws made it difficult viewing but the better team won.
