A whole can of worms opening up here. Massive respect to the men who've come out.

Hopefully more will follow, and these abusers can face justice

Can't see anything, do you have to be a member ?

this whole thing is going to be bigger than anyone can imagine

They didn't know for 30 years lol cmon I was there

I know two boys have made statements

Because it was all hearsay let's just say as a 13 year old I distanced myself from him very quickly

I think you will find the Mail picked it up from another paper. Just because you have some grudge about a particular paper doesn't mean they are not reporting the truth

These are just a few comments from our former goalkeeper Peter Hucker on Facebook this morning. This is gonna explode

That's good enough for now.

"The club takes these allegations very seriously and will cooperate fully in any forthcoming investigation."

...then outlining what is currently being done now against the risk.

The club had to acknowledge the accusation and indicate an appropriate attitude.

Good statement, I trust the club to handle this properly.

Look, we all heard the rumours way back when, but they were only that - rumours. This is naturally bad publicity for our club but it can only be a good thing if accusations such are this are open to scrutiny.

I appsolutely would want the club to be honest and open and do their very best but...

I do think there are some fans that are hoping and praying that the club will be embroiled in yet another damaging issue.

Apologies for the tasteless and selfish supporter orientated question, but do any legal heads know the legal ramifications of knowing this stuff was happening and not saying anything?

As in could Holloway / Gallen / any of the current set up be liable for anything they knew?

I played under both bob Higgins and Chris gieler.
I found gieler a very strange person and the way he spoke about certain players used to raise a few eyebrows amongst the group we were in.
Other than the inheritance thing, Thankfully I never witnessed or heard some of the things in that interview.

I can remember a ex player at the time making a comment about him. Something along the lines of he would buy them new pants if they was good . Can't remember who said it as way to many years ago but the comment stuck .
