Wigan have been dreadful tactically. They haven't properly pressed or properly sat back. They're caught between mentalities and as a result we have both time on the ball and space behind. We should have made that tell already. If they don't cop on we will make it tell in the second half.
The fear is that whatever naïve, la-la-land, cloud-brained dimwit they've handed the manager's jacket to will resign in the next hour and a real manager will sort them out. | |
