He played at No. 10 on Friday night, it seems, having played on the left up until then. By all accounts, he played well there too.
Particularly liked the assist. He is stronger than he looks from seeing how he dealt with the defender trying to shove him off the ball. Good to see our players doing well on loan.
Dalling started again tonight as City lost 3-1 to Derry up at The Brandywell. Following it on Twitter he was rarely mentioned in dispatches but seems to have played the full 90 so must have done ok. No goal or assist for the record.

Thanks for bringing us up to date, Brian. When does the season finish in the Republic?
It probably doesn't really matter but I am intrigued; does that mean he is ineligible for us until January, unless he returns before the end of the window?

Yes, I would say so, FB.

It completely fooled the keeper who completely fooled the commentator!
Pleased for Dalling - no such thing as a 'bad' goal. Even more pleased for Sligo Rovers as a draw between two teams in and around us is not much good to either of them. If we can beat Harps on Monday night, we should be okay for another season at least!
Back with us now as City's season ends in relegation.
General feeling among my mates who watched City this year was that Dalling was a bit light but worked hard, was very skillful, one of the better players in most games but maybe not direct enough to grab more goals and assists.

Like the look of Shelbourne's goalkeeper and his handling is exquisite. It's the thing I worry about with Dieng. He seems reliable and confident and his handling is good. It just doesn't sit well with our recent erratic goalkeeping philosophy. Get this guy in!

What do you make of the Cork City situation Brian? Obviously a disaster of a season on the field, but a financial mess off it too. They have effectively being bought out by Preston's owners as repayment for MacGuire. We ( Sligo Rovers) are a fan owned club too and wondering what went wrong at Cork. Was it simply of spending beyond their means when they were up there challenging Dundalk, or is there something else going on? Crazy that Ireland's second largest city can't support one Premier League club.

I really don't follow them enough to know Myke but it's sad.
They're a feeder club now. No more.
