Great idea. I suggest also another XI of players who came directly from Non-League. Sir Les obviously. Off the top of my head here are three others.

Stuart Wardley (Saffron Walden Town)
Andy Impey (Yeading)
Ernie Howe (Fulham)

No Stuart Wardley?!?!?

Switch to 4-3-3 and you can have Enfield’s Paul Furlong instead of The Wealdstone Worm.

Peacock played for Newport when they were still a league club, as were Hereford where he was when he signed for us.

Jones & Mutch?

We must have better than those surely!

Keith Sanderson was at Harwich in the early '60's & Paul Furlong would give us far more than those two even though it is not his position!

This is more difficult than the XI of players who should never have been allowed to leave non-league.

Pacquette must hold the record for single digit club appearances. I didn’t realise you could sign for the Met Police rather than join them.

Paul Bruce?
Ross Weare?

Played on the same team as both many times over the years (and man marked the latter numerous time at U18)

Like Vauxhall Motors, Met Police are a club just the same as Wealdstone, Boreham Wood etc.

The work name has been retained from their origins, but both have been semi professional clubs for decades.

Peter Crouch played for Dulwich Hamlet.

But he really came through from QPR and Spurs Dulwich was a loan from League club so not sure he counts in my opinion.

Aldershot I think...

On a diffront front but NL related Andy Sinton was manager for Fleet Town at one time.

Not a success I don't think.

Didn't Adam Miller score a hat trick or something against us for Aldershot in a reserve game so we signed him from that?
