Come off it, you don't know Joey at all. In life, most people, certainly people like Clint, will 'treat 'em as they find 'em', that's how it's always been. Every player is quick to say Joey is a good bloke, so it's as simple as that. I'm not at all surprised they got on well. There's no negative mark there for Clint.
The Joey we loathe is the media alter-ego Joey, his big stupid mouth and false pretentious nonsense. That won't be how he is in the changing room at all.

That's very fair, but it does seem odd to feel he had to leave because "there are too many cowboys" and not have Barton down as one of the biggest of them (based on his on-field behaviour which we all saw).
While Cisse turning up in a dress and celebrating madly a goal against Chelsea when we're being tonked is nuts but sort of endearing really. |  |
