what he does well - against lower league opposition, if I'm being harsh/realistic.

Same applies to Thomas, Dykes and the other unproven/young players I guess.


I like Smyth. An intelligent player in my book. Gets to the byline and looks up and will cut the ball back more often than not rather than just try and get a cross in. Destroyed the Fulham left back the season we came back to draw 2-2 when Pav scored the equaliser. On top of that he’s a tenacious little shît. Reminds me a lot of Andrew Johnson before he came to us.
