Re Covid Lockdown; How Are People Getting On With Their Other Halves? 20:28 - Sep 10 with 9197 viewsDiscodroids

6 months at home together and Jo told me off today for brushing my teeth too 'aggressively'. I also got barked at for not opening the mustard correctly.

in addition, she did not speak to me last night because i did not get her the cornetto’s that she wanted when i went for the weekly shop. I did point out to her that they were not on the list, a list that she wrote. still my fault.

There was one time where she got furious because I was making a lot of noise with the ice in my drink and the noise I made licking my lips with each sip, and i had squeezed in too much orange in my Old fashioned.

we seem to be on about a 4 day cycle before domestic event horizon erupts.

Thanks chaps,

I will be all right and look on this as a way , at 55, to kick start my future (yup i think i have one, lol)

One thing i have promised myself is to go out for a beer with my mate Disco. We've never met, but i am goind to put that right, no matter what.

Also i'm going to a Rangers home match again..... sometime..... as i've not been for many a year and hate myself for it. I will put that right!

Best
Dave

Dave, you have my greatest sympathy. All I can say is, when a relationship founders on a specific event, maybe it indicates that it was doomed to fail at some point anyway. Not that that helps at the present time, I know.

But, correct me if I'm wrong, do you not make a living by photographing beautiful women in various states of undress? In which case, I'm sure you won't be alone for long.

I had a great time in my own and in my head. Haven’t been in the office for six months. My wife has been going to work as, although she works in a school, it’s in the office where things needed to be done.

Thing is, she resigned a little while ago and now I’m in the way. So, my days of watching Minder and listening to English Settlement are numbered.

We can both drink though. There’s always an always.

My wife cooks, makes my lunch, gets my clothes ready, drives me, gets my beers in , makes the bed, cleans the bath, dusts the flat.

I make sure I don’t fuc k it up. I always f uck it up.

She’s lucky she found me. I saved her.

I would disagree, but I hate arguing.

Just realised how horrible that must have read considering you have a new dog, but what I am getting at it’s either the Puppies or continuous stomach ulcer if arguing is out the question.

😆

Unfortunately, covid has finished our relationship, and in 7 weeks i will be leaving the family home for good after 13 years in which we've travelled the world together, lived a good life given the circumstances, and generally been very good for each other.

Covid, combined with My current job (on nights) and my previous business getting ripped off has done for us.

Covid was / is truly the last nail in the coffin due to arguing, hours worked both sides, lack of you know what, etc.

All combined with a drying up of the 'women you fancy but shouldnt' thread and no footy, life is shyte right now.

Still, 7 weeks and counting.......... i'm now a stranger in our home. lol

Sorry dave . I've been through the mangle a few times also.

Nothing bad lasts forever.
