Wallace might be back, but our best player probably won't be because the club has decided to impose the unwritten clause in a contract, which is we might have triggered a one year option, but our option for that year is not to play you during that extra season unless you commit even further to this clown show.

As always in the middle of such a run, I can't see any sign of recovery and we'll not score with this lot, so it's a case of how many for them (I'm going for 3). The usual bright start followed by an embarrassing first after 20 minutes then the traditional QPR collapse.

i agree, i am being harsh

and ... i dont mind he lack of goals

what i mind is he is chronically in the wrong place, he chronically makes the wrong run, not being involved in any goal scoring opportunities

ok, fair enough, the service hasnt been great... but even conor washington found himself getting chances


Agree he looks very raw. But he was never going to be the finished article given what we paid. Hopefully Warburton and the coaching staff can improve him.

His work rate and hold up game has been okay. But yes, his reading of the game and anticipation looks very poor to me. I hope it’s just chemistry/familiarity with his wingers but he’s constantly standing still, not attacking it, when a ball is played in, and he seems to want to drift the back stick rather than attack the ball across the front of the defender.


i disagree on the hold up play.

i dont consider flicking balls on with your head to be hold up play... i consider holding the ball up, back to goal, using your foot, bringing players in... he does win some long balls but it doesnt rly seem to be helping us build up

separately, .. bright has put on an absolute clinic with his hold up play ... hes become so good at this

Yeah, their goal has made us nervy again. They're less than the sum of their parts but I'm afraid I can see them scrambling an equaliser.

I agree. I didn’t say “good” just okay. Bright’s hold up game is very good. But Dykes doesn’t make it easy for a centre half.

Separate note: Chair should not be on corners.
