If he keeps this up, then he will be sold for £10m in the summer.
I sense some irony here perhaps,Lazy But is that really the summit of our ambitions? The new sustainable live within our means go nowhere Static Hoos Les Clive model? Groom then flog them and 13th-16th as far as we can go? or can we really hope to ever become the new Brentford?

Don't get me wrong I'll still support - even fervently - during tough times BUT Ultimately I go to LR with the attempt for glory not sustainability.

If 13th-16th is the summit of anyone at the club's ambitions we might as well bin it off altogether.
Interesting comment about the "new Brentford" but remember Benham came in just over 10yrs ago and laid much of the groundwork for how they're run today. We've got a board that's pìssed away the Premier League twice and in honesty has only been taking this "sustainability" shìt seriously for a couple of years (counting Holloway, not McLaren).
The fact we've made money on any player, let alone the £15m+ for Eze is astonishing. Let's not trip over again sprinting before we can toodle.
I think credit also goes to the coaching staff on the defence.
Although the key is clearly getting in the right players, but clearly have been working hard to both develop them and get them working as a unit. The more they play together the better they should become (stupid brainfart moments aside).
Yep, they still occasionally give me kittens (there was five minutes in the second half last night when Barbet consistently failed to clear his lines and kept coughing up the ball) but the work does appear to be paying off. I think Dieng is a big part of that, comes across as very calm and level headed.
Dickie won numerous headers and was spot on positionally to cut out the ball across the box to Kazim R who missed out on a sitter. What I liked most about the goal was his tackle to win the ball, timed to perfection, went through the opponent who had no time to recover, calmly strode forward scanning the pitch for options - I was screaming it must go wide where we had Kane standing unmarked ready to deliver a cross - maybe the Derby players were of a similar mind but no he floated a lovely ball to Bonne to bury. Lovely goal.
Dieng is already proving a better choice then Lumley or Kelly. His ability to come off his line to clutch a ball from the air is something we've lacked for a while.
Like others I was happy to see Kane up his game, bar a couple of possible yellow card indiscretions he was solid and always keen to join the attack. Probably realises he has competition in the RB berth.
The team is growing together which is good to see.
