I hadn't realised/ had forgotten the gap was so big.
Nevertheless, it was a terrible run and the final points total was 51 which can sometimes get you relegated and that was improved by 7 in the matches under Eustace after Schteve was dismissed.
That the total reached 51 was largely down to the good spell we had after the first four matches. This time we don't have that 'luxury' to start the new calendar year with, as we are in a very poor position already.
Hence, why I think our priority is the league and we should use this match to get 'minutes' into some of our squad players whilst protecting our key players from unnecessary risk. Remembering, also in other seasons we lost Mackie, Faurlin and Buzsaky to long term injuries incurred in cup ties. |  | | |
