Jason Dupasquier, an up and coming Swiss motor cycle racer sadly died today following an accident during practice yesterday at Mugello.
I love this sport but it does have a very dark side at times. I know it's an occupational hazard but it's still devastating when this happen.

Very sad news. A great gladiatorial sport, but not without its risks.
Was at a BSB weekend at Cadwell a few years back when a young rider Ben Gautry lost his life. A very sobering experience. |  | | |

I was at an agricultural retailers yesterday run by Nick Crowe, the ex-side car racer/champion. He lost an arm and leg after a hare ran out in front of them.

I was always told that motor cyclists are only future organ donors waiting their turn.The way SOME of them ride through our country lanes up here,a few might have jumped up that list.
