QPR U23s v Hull 14:49 - Aug 16 with 6924 viewsaston_hoop

Was about to write a post about how much of an irritation it is to me that I seem to be able to find more info about the bloody QPR esports team than the U23s, but its being shown live on re-cast tomorrow if you want to see how that little project is progressing. 1pm kick off

Also you can go and watch it live for free (recommended donation to QPR trust) if you are local and have nothing to do.

They've been roughing us up this half and got the desired result.

3-2. Outstanding hit from outside the box. They're well on top

If this is the best that Recast can do, then I hope they are ditched. Appalling coverage. In and out of focus, slowing down then speeding up, its pathetic.

Be interested to know what sort of standard this Hull team is - i.e. is this actually a load of U18s playing overage - because QPR have looked far slicker here than when I saw them at Hampton. Armstrong SDM the stand outs so far. Was actually hoping to see some more of Max Little because he played v well in the friendly but he's had as much to do in this game as I have.

Enjoying it, and pleased the Recast has worked (albeit with a picture quality akin to it being filmed on a phone) but it's a bit easy.

I think quite a few of ours are U18's playing overage and players like Frailing, DaSilva, Mema & Carlyle etc. are all new to the side this year.

The grass is always greener.

I hope you realise that I spent 30 minutes trying to work out what the hell sort of position SDM might be (some sort of Striker/ Defensive Mid combo?) and why Armstrong wasn't just up front before I worked out you meant Duke-McKenna.

Yeh it was ok first half, albeit with a poor picture quality, but now it's like stop motion animation.

Enjoyed that. Very decent background noise for a working lunch time. Great goal to win it from the game's outstanding player.

Ultimately more satisfying ultimately to come back and win like that than simply coast through the second half

Some good performances before it when a bit pear shaped with the sending off. Duke McKenna looked a cut above the rest. Mahorn, Frailing, Armstrong, and Mena all caught the eye for me

after that, I would think getting Duke-McKenna out to a League 2 side for a bit would be beneficial. A level above anyone in our team, not sure he'll be learning much more playing these games

Please let the club know what you think of Recast today. If that was a first team game they were showing, we'd be rightly up in arms again. The all round quality is just unacceptable and the club must do better than this.

Duke McKenna's 3rd late free-kick in the last five U23s games. Something of a specialist.

Yes. I also thought Drew (?) at RWB looked promising

Every time I read Trent Mahorn's name it makes me giggle. It's not even rude, it just sounds like it should be.

Nicknamed "TOOTS" allegedly.
