Dunne or de Wijs vs Fulham? 10:26 - Oct 11 with 3185 viewsdmm

Assuming Mitrovic starts for Fulham, I'm wondering who should play as the central CB. Both Dunne and de Wijs have been very good for us and Dunne has done well with his chance to make the position his own.

However, just maybe with his strength and experience, de Wijs could handle Mitrovic better. And of course de Wijs will be desperate to put in a top performance to get his position back.

Yes, Gray is the one definite not to feature. I will be surprised if Chair & Dykes don't both start.

As to the question as to who plays at the back, it depends on whether either of Wallace or McCallum are available. If not, Barbet to left wing back & both play. If one of them is, then toss a coin!

No way Wallace will start after having been out so long.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

If Dykes is 100% fit when he returns from 'mucking around' with the 'jocks' then I would expect him to start......big if though but he deserves it.

As for the 3rd CB......I would probably go for Jordi, once again if he is fit and after the break I expect him to be fit.

More importantly for me is we need a Left sided defender to be fit so we will be more balanced and also allow Willock a more advanced and dangerous position. Ball in CM with SJ.

Gazza agrees with my earlier post...

Dunne currently has the shirt and given that the actual question itself implies there is little between them , I think picking De Wijs would send the wrong message. I like the idea that there is such competition for places that players daren’t miss a game or risk not getting back in
