Watchable first half from two attack-minded teams, though paradoxically very few chances. We got out of jail after 2 minutes with a linesman's flag chalking off their header from a poorly defended corner, Seny had his hands stung after that, and they had a 20 yarder just wide.

We've flattered to deceive, with Albert again outstanding in both attack and defence - save, sadly and strangely, his crossing, which has been wayward at best. Unfortunately, that also goes for Chair, Barbet and McCallum, maddeningly, so we've worked ourselves into some good positions, but let ourselves down time and again with the final ball, which means Austin and Dykes have been once again dining on scraps. Our outstanding chance came after their otherwise steady keeper spilled a speculative Chair shot embarrassingly, Dykes got blocked on the rebound, and then Charlie somehow contrived to miss an open goal from an angle.

Especially if we're playing two strikers, to state the obvious, we can't come into H/T without working their keeper. I'm thinking/hoping we'll see Willock out for the second half for McCallum, who deserves to be hooked. We really should win this, but I can see it going to 0-0, or even worse. Hope I'm wrong.
