I can see where you are coming from but before November 6th the schedule was ridiculous and then when you get to December 27th you are playing 3 games in 6 days. The schedule across the whole season is mad when you can have periods of the season with 8 day gaps between games and others where you get 2 days. It could be done a lot better than this and unless managers and clubs make a noise about this it will never change.


Fair enough, but if we look at it as a whole - lets say its 50 games, its spread over 9 months - is that excessive - that's the debate.

Its pretty pointless wishing every game was played on a Saturday, or that Sky, or any TV company are not going to move the games or that international breaks are going away - that's my point - can't see how you can fit all the games in, in that time period in a national league and not expect the games to come erm....... "thick and fast" with travel at times.

it's how it's spread out that's the problem imo. It could be a lot better at all levels but no one seems to want to change anything they just get on with it
