So which Forum do you think he'll be plugged in to ? Surely not next door ?

Posters like you need to start focusing on constructively critiquing your Messiah Martin - instead of always turning on and lashing out at the proper fans who clearly 'See' and know best.

The proper fans who have seen clearly the nonsense that Martin has dished from the outset - his humiliating rejection of Piroe; the incredulous 'look' that Tatey gave him; Oba's rejection; shite Plan A and no Plan B, etc etc.

Your 'STID' brand is waning, withering, dying. Time for some introspection, fella. Before even contemplating lashing out at better posters.

Piroe has never looked back form the home truths given to him by Mr Martin in the first week. Football fans love the word "Galvanisation ". Martin certainly kick started the career of Joel. Just what the Doctor ordered by the looks of it. He is delivering on his promise as a 17 year old linked to Juventus after teenage stagnation in The Netherands.

Obafemi is under going the same transition from petulant undisciplined non performer into a proper player. Both failing prospects now both "on the up".

No one has gone in 'hook line and sinker' on Martin. The Messiah moniker is a 'false flag' technique as highlighted in the Ukraine war. Even his most ardent supporters want to seen more evidence he can deliver the goods. Brendan failed at Watford and Reading before hitting his groove.

Point me in the way of "proper fans" please ?
Certainly not the likes of you who has the name of a player with no association with the club as his username.
All you ever do is criticize the club and everything about it.
No directors or owners will give two hoots about what is on any social media, except for anything they are in control of releasing.
Certainly not this or any other forum.
BTW Piroe and Obafemi ( plus Ntcham, Downes and Paterson for that matter ) have all seen their careers reignited under Martin.
So guess he must be doing something right?

Exactly.
A few owe their rejuvenation to Martin, whatever faults he has.

There is no rejuvenation there.

Obafemi and Piroe were never allowed to get going, Piroe was dropped before he stepped foot on the field. Their suitability for the Championship was always there, hence they were signed. It’s not there because Martin fell out with them.

It’s a credit to the players that they continued to focus despite such behaviour from the manager.

It’s not the way to manage players. Piroe now being horrendously managed by being dropped into a midfield role. He’s doing a job but I can’t imagine he’s too happy there.

The Res. You are clearly one of the better posters here however it's time to now get yer head around the fact that Martin totally and utterly hecked it up with Piroe - from the outset.

Martin rejected Piroe - fact. Said he wasn't cutting it, wasn't up to 'getting' Martin's tactics. Stripped him of the #9 jersey he had originally been given. Dumped him from the inaugural match of the season.

Gave the #9 jersey to Oba - and then quickly dumped him too.

For some posters to keep saying that was kickstarting careers and implying top man-management is beyond absurd.

Martin mis-managed from the outset. Martin continues to mis-manage. There's an ongoing clue there - he ain't no football manager we deserve.

I’m sure people will say the same if Williams goes back to Liverpool and has a good career.

We can't draw any conclusions with Piroe's treatment because there wasn't a "before" to compare to the "after". It's impossible to know if Martin's tough love and hard truths improved Piroe or if he was fine all along and incorrectly excluded on opening day. Maybe he would have been even better. Did he take lessons to heart? Did a new determination to prove the manager wrong produce results? A tale to be twisted to suit any narrative.

Christie has a strop with Piroe every game expecting him to make runs down the line for him. Piroe wants to stay within the width of the 18 yard box. It's not a natural partnership on that side. Piroe has scored almost all of his goals this season playing as the central striker, 3 of his last 4 have come with Obafemi off the field.

Exactly, there is no rejuvenation.

It’s clearly a good player playing well. He can only do that if he’s on the pitch, so Martin eventually playing him, as he obviously should be doing deserves no credit. It would be ludicrous to not play a player like Piroe.

Falling out with every striker we have is not something managers will be looking at and emulating as a way forward that’s for sure, regardless of the fact they were strong enough to not let it get to them or not.

We can ofc draw conclusions Jasp - Martin totally got it wrong with Piroe.

Martin rejected Piroe, massively. It wasn't tough love. It was proper dumping him. Piroe was a goner, bit like the Python dead parrot.

If it wasn't for Piroe's proactive dad, Piroe could well have folded. Training on his own in Swansea beach (as per Keith's report) to this day. Piroe's dad is managing Piroe - not Martin. Fact.

Martin's arrogance in brand Martin rejected Piroe.

For me, that says it all about how very wrong Martin was and still is.

So if players do well it is nothing to do with the manager ?
However if they do badly it is everything to do with the manager ?
That is a very well rounded argument.
I can see you have been taking lessons of your mates Perch and Eames

If players play well then it is more to do with their ability. Unless you think Martin taught Piroe how to score after a week of arguing with him?

The teams performance is down to a manager.

I don’t put individual poor performances down to a manager unless they are played out of position. Can you find a post from me blaming a manager for a players individual performance?

You won’t be able to.

Defence is still to this day our Achilles heel.

Yet Martin said yonks ago how he'd sorted our defence and was progressively addressing our midfield, then front line.

WTF does Martin think he is ? Most proper fans see right through his waffle and spin.

Lording it up in Martin Morgan's luxury coastal mansion, spinning his spin and the sheeple are still lapping it up.

Put the premier league to one side you have to rack your brains to name the last championship manager at Swansea to be sacked.

Martin does not have overwhelming support. He never has.
The Poll does show though discontent is growing.
We are in fear and rightly so as we have massively screwed up with him although I feel he WILL exit of his own accord. Please God.

Martin did have a clean slate with all Swans supporters when he started.
That position may well have changed now, but ne certainly had overwhelming support in the beginning

He did indeed. Many of his harshest critics (like me) were enthusiastic about his appointment and excited by the early performances he delivered. In my case, I naively assumed he was being adventurous and creative in trying players out in unfamiliar roles, when really he was just trying to put square pegs in round holes.

The unabashed Martin devotees, who will accept no criticism whatsoever, DO still exist. I could give you half a dozen names without pausing for breath. Fortunately few of them have the guts to post on here. They are a mix of flat-earthers, fans who genuinely enjoy seeing the ball passed sideways and backwards without purpose, and a few who nailed their colours to Martin's mast early on and can't bear to admit they made a mistake. But I agree, the overwhelming majority of posters who still see good in Martin can also see his flaws.

I don’t remember him delivering early exciting performances?

We only won 1 of our first 7 league games and got thoroughly outplayed in the majority. Our only win being the game against Bristol City where the players ditched his short passing style and went rogue.

The alarm bells were present from game 1.

We know the club isn't going to let RM go and pay compo.
So our best hope is someone else falling for his bollox

Yes I did defend him as he'd had no pre season and I always give a manager (new or 2nd/3rd year) 12 games before I make my assessment.
I gave RM 16-20 games leeway to make up for that. Right up until around that many games he whined about having no pre season.
I still think RM has a better squad at his disposal than Cooper had.

The Tapas waiter took footballers from a hoofball manager and got them playing a totally alien style to them.
Sousaball (and I thought that was boring, right up until we got Russ!) taught us how to defend after the tapas waiter gave us plan A (score more than the opposition)
Both these managers gave Brenda a really solid platform to go on to be a PL star!
Loudstrop brought us some absolutely sublime football...

Then the directors in their infinite wisdom appointed Monk to completely dismantle it all.
Brad bobbly- enough said! Although we did witness an incredible amount of goals under his leadership

My fear is that RM will waste money on players in the summer and be sacked around Xmas time because we're languishing down the bottom of the division.
I hope my fears are wrong
