For those who saw him play would you be able to post some memories of what he was like as a player, any particular games that stood out or performances. Also anything about his time as stadium manager after his playing career ended.
I'm looking to do a video for my youtube channel which looks back at players we don't have much video footage of such as Brian Bedford, George Goddard, Reg Allen etc. I've got all his stats, appearances etc but would be good to add some more insight to it as well from people who saw him play.
