I like to go to The Wellington on Bennetts Hill near new street when in Birmingham, although not really an away pub but always friendly and great for real ales. Briar Rose Wetherspoons a few doors down the road is always busy with away fans as is the Station Bar other side of New Street station. Like you say most fans drink in the city centre as there isn’t much near the ground. There’s a few pubs on Digbeth on the way there but can’t really recommend any. |  |

I have been going to a music festival in Digbeth for well over a decade now and always use this place. Friendly and great beers, large outside area, 15 minutes walk from the ground.
