A nasty thing to do for sure. Wasn't the bloke who got injured a notorious hooligan or is just more made up bullshit?

Certain people seem to think his past will come out in the court case next year.
I'm not so sure but may well do in defence cross in respect of character.
But here's the thing..... doesn't matter if you punch Vlad Putin once on the streets of W12 and he hits his head causing life changing injuries - you'll be nicked and done for it.
The ONLY thing that'll save you is if you can prove acted in self defence by way of mitigation - and it'll only ever be mitigation.

I think people need to respect there is a pending court case and leave it at that - I'll say no more about what I've heard on the incident as it's just that, third or fourth hand whispers.

It's another classic case of how one punch can effect so many lives which is a real shame.
