It is used because CWL does not produce an alternative. I use Bristol myself and dislike the place.

A real individual testimony for your dull put downs .

Of course Cardiff offers alternatives, but it's to expensive in a lot of cases, that's why people from East Wales prefer Bristol

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Forward thinking by Bristol or just pie in the sky? I have travelled many times into airports by monorail but this is something else.

Many Welsh people work at Bristol Airport, i was actually chatting to some two weeks ago. It really is surprising how many, by the same token there are loads of English workers at Cardiff Airport. But the narrow minded can't understand how the real world works

I have stopped flying from Bristol. It has got too big , too busy, not enjoyable.
Too many people for the amount of facilities.
I flew from Liverpool last week. Quiet, easy. Let’s hope it stays that way.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

You old fox you
Remember when posters used to go o about getting their hubcaps robbed?
JL airport is a breeze compared to horrific Manchester and the it ignorant staff
It works though the outbuildings remind me of Fairwood common airport , where I learned to drive

NB Look out for speed cameras all along Aigburth Rd
They often have mobile speed cameras too

The new transport interchange has helped a lot of that outside as has the new multi level car park, fast track through security and airport loungers also are pleasant. The problem is have with Cardiff Airport is the money we are ploughing into it. Would it stop me flying fron there definitely not, its just that they don't provide me with the service I want. Flying elsewhere i can save hundreds on a family holiday. Fly at a time I want, arriving in time to unpack and have dinner and when I leave get picked up after breakfast and be home in the evening. No arriving at my destination late at night and hanging around all day to come home. If Cardiff did all that I would use it but it doesn't fit in with my requirements. If Bristol go long haul it will save me a couple of trips to Manchester or London every year another bonus.

If you’re travelling from north west , you can doss here for the night
We’re smoke free , dog friendly though not people friendly
35 mins from JL Traffic 45 mins from Manchester

Traffic is often a pain though

Thanks mate but Manchester I often do by train. Direct to Picadilly from Swansea then a short hop. Long haul is about a 9am flight so it's an onsite hotel.

We regularly fly from Cardiff around 7 am to Majorca. A bit early but we're there and on the beach by midday. And the flight back is the return of that one which means flying back around 11 and home in the early pm. Nice and easy.

It may well be more expensive but so easy to get to and quieter.

Agree John I use it for Zakynthos, I'm happy with that but it's still losing hell of a lot of money will it ever become profitable

It's true it suits some but obviously not all. I haven't been to the Balearic Islands for nearly 20 years, I tend to holiday abroad in the autumn/winter and the climate is not as good then.

We've just recently returned from Spain flying in and back from Cardiff and I think its a hidden gem and would use it as much as we can but if the flights and competitive pricing isn't there then like many others will choose to look elsewhere.

Flew into Malaga from Cardiff last week, first time I've used it for years, lovely 6.30 am flight times, check in, security and passport control an absolute pleasure, plenty of room to sit and no queues for coffee or drinks, holiday price on a par with Bristol
Booked to go to Gran Canaria in January from Cardiff again, lovely early flight times and believe it or not 70 quid pp cheaper than Bristol

Reeves is doing her best to ensure Labour do not get a second term.

They won't get in again, unless they revert back to those Labour values, but there's no chance of it happening with Starmer and his fellow sewer rats.

I fly regularly from Cardiff & Bristol. Given the choice I would choose Cardiff every time.

No queuing, no hassle car parking, no winding queues to get through security (like a throw back to the 80s compared to many modern airports), quicker & easier to get to by car. It’s got to be worth the extra cost in many instances imo.

The main problem with Cardiff is the lack of choice of destinations - that will always be the downside due to population density - & the poor public transport links.

20-25% of passengers passing through Bristol airport are from Wales, that must be frustrating - as long as so many keep crossing the border to fly from there will be no need for the likes of Jet2 or EasyJet to put flights on from Cardiff

Yet he didn't give a monkeys about the Steelworkers losing their jobs, double standards indeed.

English workers at Cardiff Airport, he'll go Radio Rental on learning that, perhaps he'll make a plaque and go and demonstrate outside the airport.
