Rory's strat was such a signature beast - I'm surprised it didn't go for more money. I watched him tear the roof off at the Hammersmith Odeon in the late 70's - what a player. With the Jeff Beck collection (not a huge fan) there does not appear to be a single stand out legendary guitar but a huge collection all the same. One for the purists I think.
