Edwards leaving by "mutual consent", according to Talksport.

Did Joe Edwards get the sack from Millwall after we beat them at home last season too? Or was that a bit later.

2010 … Uncle Neil’s Rs 3 up after half an hour at Bramall Lane. Home crowd calling for Kevin Blackwell’s head (Warnock’s old assistant) and they soon got their wish. Very early in the season that one … third league game? My main memory of that day is a rare quality performance and goal from Hogan Ephraim that wasn’t against a team of West Country part-timers.

Mutual once the payoff was agreed I’d imagine. I think Rooney agreed to just walk away but that must be very rare nowadays.
