Let's hope it goes as well for them as it did for us - or worse.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Confirmed.

That's some timing.

2nd in the division and he bails out to dig in for a relegation fight.

If there is a god please let them pass each other at the end of the season.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

I would imagine he's getting a damn sight more money than Wycombe are paying so why wouldn't you take it.
it's not like he's some high p[rofile manager that's been on big money

Ainsworth back to Wycombe.......?

I think i believe Wycombe are gaining success now playing a different brand of football to Ainsworth Ball !!!!

I don't think they will be in for Gareth again.

Walking in a "Mackie Wonderland"

Was told that he didn't see eye to eye with the owners at Wycombe.

Also told that whilst that isn't impossible, Wycombe's fans are not quite so keen having had a few years of more attractive football than GA's team provided.

Wycombe fan here. The new ownership group never had his back. Basically evicted a club legend.

We won't get GA back - we are "data driven" and "modern" now, so it will be some corporate bloke talking about "alignment", "outcome", and "trust the process". The algorithm would cry out in pain if GA's "possession can do one" mantra was entered, much as I love the bloke!

Everyone in football is a data analyst these days.

I keep looking at Luton and thinking they have to be better than their league position suggests, so it might not be the risky move it seems if he pulls them together.

When you say ‘different brand of football’ do you mean not the Championship?

Despite playing for them for 13 years?
