Adel Taarabt coming back? 23:14 - Jan 22 with 4957 viewsLoftboy2005

IMO I'm 50/50 with this, a part of me is saying yes he will come back but another parts saying no, mainly due to the fact that he is at the age of retirement but if he did come back I would most definitely say the play off charge is 100% on. thoughts?

I could still see Adel doing a job at LR,

Either as a technical coach, or...... how about this, as a midfielder with a brief to keep position and sprey balls about the pitch to the players for very quick breaks etc? use him for a year, then help him teach those tricks and dinks etc.

Just a thought.

He could play the Bannon role and the set pieces would be a hell of a lot better. But no its too disruptive and would change the way we play

I wonder how Marti would have handled Taarabt back then or even now?

Just seen Kyle Walker has signed for AC Milan . Aged 35. What a career that lad has had. Meanwhile, Taarabt gets coated off at the age of 36 to come to QPR.

Chalk and cheese in terms of commitment, professionalism and achievements however I appreciate the underlying point.

What puzzles me is why this is even a point of discussion? I've seen no evidence of a possible return from either the club or the player himself. Until I do, this is a completely hypothetical thread and therefore a pointless debate.

Looks slim in those pics.
Yeh he was never coming back here to play. Would like to see him inducted into the forever Rs thing though.

Went to Sharjar a few years back to watch England in the cricket world cup. It is an experience for the senses for sure!

You wouldnt think that it was just a short ride from the glitz and glam of Dubai. I think Adel will probably prefer the commute option haha.

Worth a visit for anyone who likes exploring interesting grounds (cricket) though.

Poll: Who will the other play off

Barring injuries, and based on how seems to have turned the corner as a professional player I wonder what odds you'd get for him playing until he is 40? He looks fitter now than he ever has so I guess he is now training regularly... and none of his team mates trying to break his legs.

The grass is always greener.
