Very interesting, thanks for posting. I went to Twyford school in Acton, it was called The Elms when I first arrived there. Seen quite a few places I recognise in the video.
Thanks mate, I've just spent the last 2.5 hours intensely watching these, when I am supposed to be working!!! Really enjoying them, so thanks for sharing 👍
Not a lot of people realise that Acton is the only suburb of London to have train/tube stations for all four Primary compass points (plus Town, Central and Main Line for good measure).
I lived in Acton for a while. Does anyone remember the builders yard on horn lane called Teevans (maybe it's stll there). Used to be know as 'tree quid Teevans' because just about everything you hired cost 3 quid per day. This was back in the early 80's mind. Edit - they are still there!! Just found thier website. A lot more professional now. Good for them.

When you reach the place beyond thoughts, the only thing you'll find is love and the only purpose of life becomes to ease the suffering of others.

We moved to action Acton about 16 years ago as I wanted to stay in West London (missus is from Croydon). You're more likely to find an affordable house on the moon than in the Grove, Shepherd's Bush was getting beyond our budget, Chiswick moreso (and not really my type of community). There was still value to be found in Acton and it's honestly one of the best moves we've made.
Teevan's is indeed still there or "M Teevan" to give it it's full title which is either an unintentional or wonderful pun on the fact they literally hire empty vans.
