Just a few words about the most ridiculous managerial appointment in the history of SFC.
Firstly grateful to SR for putting the poor boy out of his misery, although should have been done a week earlier after the Ewood Park debacle, where his actions showed he had had enough.
Secondly, happy retirement WS from football. You deserve a break from the abuse and the pressure of real football , you'll be happy again back behind your play station with your sugary drinks and lollypops.
Thirdly, to SR, can we have a man as a manager this time please? Some one with experience, someone who's played the game, someone with passion and energy, someone who knows what his best team is, someone who won't take crap from the big time Charlie players?

Did he not request a striker to replace Ings and SR gave him nothing, so he was on a hiding to nothing, it's hperphetical to know if he could of kept us up but IMO he may well of done and it's not gone better since and that is a fact? | | | |

It's clear that sacking him didn't halt the decline but he'd won 3/14 that season and only 1/12 at the end of the previous season.
Sacking him was right. But we should have done it in the summer and we shouldn't have appointed a crackpot like Nathan Jones to replace him.
Many felt that the Ralph's best days were when he had Rohl alongside him and that without him Ralph wasn't that good. | |

The word at The training ground was that he was rude and arrogant, but as Dorset says, he should have gone earlier which lead to the panic appointment of Nathan Jones.
He was definitely left needing a proper striker, but his defensive organisation was disastrous. 9-0, 9-0. | | | |
