I didn't realise McBurnie had gone to Hull, so when I saw 'Roddy McScotsman' in the list of transfers in, I didn't think of McBurnie, until I saw him referenced by the Hull fans.

I quite like Hull and how they bump along. They prove that its possible to do okay against a backdrop of embargos, managerial merrygorounds, deranged owners, loadsa players in and out... Good for them I say!
Modern football is too eager to trot out excuses for poor results and under-performance, always seeking to set the bar low due to extenuating circumstances or blame someone/something else.
Hull are proving that a decent manager and good honest pros CAN shut out all the noise and get on with the game.
