new manager bounce ... we still wait.

next 2 games need a bounce.

but just to be clear, he picked the right time, so its the players that are the problem now right?

We are going down playing like this
Every Swans player is marked when we have the ball , nobody within 10 yards of their players when they have the ball , it’s like they have more players than us , why can’t our players mark like the opponents do
The space we allow wingers and fullbacks out wide on both sides is killing us 34 crosses into our box ,14 shots inside our box we wouldn’t survive in league 2 allowing that
West Brim won nearly every ball in the air and every 2nd ball , they tackled and showed more desire to win the ball and the game,we just didn’t lay a glove on them 2nd half while they queued up for shots on our goal 26 by the way 10 on target
Their manager makes 4 changes half time and they ripped us apart ,our changes did nothing ,it was like we took players off and didn’t put any on !!!
We’ve dropped like a stone and it looks like we can’t get out of it
These are desperate times

I made a post at half time and I didn’t want to be too negative because we were winning 2-0. But we weren’t good enough, luckily WBA were worse.

We can’t / don’t tackle.
We are STILL leaving players unmarked on the wings as you say.
They were lining up just outside the 18 yd area to receive a pass and shoot.

Cabango is no bloody Captain. I want someone who can raise spirits and who players respond to positively. Also his game isn’t good enough.

It’s too steep a hill to climb in my opinion even though we are not half way there. There just aren’t any signs that they can get us out if this sadly.

I know it’s still early enough but I just can’t see us getting enough points to stay in this league. We’ve not got the players. How many balls in the midfield did we win today. Almost none, certainly in the air. No manager will get a tune out of these as they don’t have the right attributes for The Championship.

And to add insult to injury we’ll be swapping places with Them. I don’t see us doing what they are doing this season in L1.

Do you think the owners realise how much trouble were in

I hope so but even if they do I’m not sure anything they can do this season will be enough.

And I’ll repeat, NO MANAGER WOULD SAVE US WITH THIS SQUAD OF PLAYERS.

Before some cretin comes on and says some are enjoying this , this is upsetting
We’ve had family members who went to their grave loving our club
Now we see cowards and charlatans like Ronald falling down hoping for a free kick
We have eom The biggest waste of a shirt bar Fulton being unable to withstand basic sporting contact and two full backs who ate the worst on my living memory
Cabango is decent enough lad but no leader but he’s short pieces IMO because of successive shit coaches that have drained his confidence

O can’t see us getting free of this

I can see us being the lowest Welsh team

Hilarious isn’t it?

That is the kind of game you see in a relegation season.

I told my son this week ., that I had the dreaded R feeling during our pre season, I just hope that the new Manager and owners can sort it out, because as its looking we will be some points adrift by February , the clubs that are keen are starting to put results together, we are failing to put 2 halves together.

We not only don’t tackle our players look afraid to tacky, if they are close enough to opponents that is because we can’t mark either!!
How difficult is it for our player to stand close to the opponent when they do it to us ,it’s like Tymon and Key are observing Covid safety spacing rules !!
There’s no steel or desire to win the ball , it’s like we’re under 8’s playing men
I don’t know how good Matos’s coaching staff are IF they come in but they’re going to need to be world beaters , let’s hope they know what marking is
And we still fart around at the back ,

I hope Matos can do this
However I read the experienced managers names are all the same ones banded about
It is exactly why we should have gone for one
We need to stay up
An ingenue coach is right up against it from the start

Press? Just took off with that word

How about mark, tackle, shoot

Couldn’t have put it better.

The faffing around at the back is doing us no good. We are a hairs breadth from giving the ball away. In fact Vigoroux did that today. I was shouting for Tymon? to make himself available but he just kept a straight line between him, the player closing down and Vig. MOVE FFS.

In fairness, WBA players were far better than our shower but boy didn’t we make it easy for them.

And to demonstrate no steel whatsoever to defend that 2-0 lead is why I believe we are as good as down even at this earlyish stage of the season.

Problem is this manager will never have experienced a situation like this.

How does he pick the players up, how does he get them performing better.

Tough one but hope he has it within him to sort it, whether he’ll get any help from his mentors like Kiopp etc. I don’t know

We are the first Welsh club to reach the Premier League Simples

He should address them tomorrow at 8am
Everyone of them should be given a roasting
We’ve not seen any manager get angry for years
It’s as if they’re arsed too
I want to see anger from Matos , no positive platitudes, no we did ok buts , no we can build on this …. Shite

We can hope but it may be beyond him

We have run our club badly and these owners are no better

We need to immediately bin Key and Fulton and offload on January
All the loan players can go back

It’s awful

I look at the teamsheet and think "that's not a bad side".
It's a Championship team full of Internationals. Vigoroux, Cabango, Burgess, Stamenic, Galbraith, Idah, Vipotnik. They are all Internationals.
Then they go out on the pitch and they can't be bothered and they play like they've never met before.
It has been the problem since pre-season. Great potential, horrendous in reality.
The captain has to change, at least 1 full backs has to change and I'd give Wales and Widdell a chance

That today has told me we are going down. If I wasn't so loyal I would switch off
Get the players in a room with the fans and let it rip. This is a relegation team. have 0 doubts now.

I know how down the fans are feeling but at the end today as the players came over to the fans there were some ugly exchanges , hand gestures , swearing . The players looked shocked and I don't think it is going to achieve anything. Morale must be through the floor and shameful scenes like that won't pick the players up.

Wouldn’t make any difference as far as I can see.

I’m calming down a bit now. I had a bit of light relief watching the rugby on fast forward and now I’m trying to convince myself that Matos can make a team worthy of the Championship out of a poor bunch of players.
