There was a lot of it going on mate particularly elbows across the face, Wrexham are a dirty side and they are allowed to get away with it. Some of our players go down far too easily and try and cheat which doesn't particularly help us.

Instances like that should be look at retrospectively with complaints made, all well and good saying referee's are being influenced not to give decisions for theatrical play but the reverse should be in place for this type of cynical play, we have seen McLean's play so often and it should be highlighted so that referee's can look out for it and act accordingly.

Not one to condone acts of uncalled violence but in his case I wouldn't be adverse to see someone break one of his limbs .

I'm a little surprised that nobody has ever tried. I mean, it's probably not all that difficult to find out where footballers live and I wouldn't put it past the type of person who gets riled up about his politics to pay him a visit.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I've calmed down emotionally after last night as would I hope the majority of football supporters but as we know it only takes one to over react .If I was a professional footballer I would hate to think that I'd be remembered not for my ability but because of some acts of violence against my fellow professional or my political leanings then I suppose if he's as rich as everyone assumes he is then I don't suppose he cares.

It’s a perfect example of why Ronald’s playacting counts against him

Blatant and missed or ignored by that utterly useless Ref, it feels like there's a conspiracy against SCFC when we see countless referees decisions that go against us.

Ive got a different take on it. I watched on the i pad and when it happend I thought that's what you get for being a fanny and diving so much and the ref didn't give it. Hopefully Ronald has learned a lesson. Don't fing dive.

This happened right front of where we were sitting and not one of our group saw this. In fact most of us were discussing how Ronald’s antics count against us.

McLean is a disgrace. I have spoken to fans of clubs that he has played for and it is pretty unanimous that none of them really wanted him representing their club

After looking at the X replay in slow motion, it appears McLean kicks Ronald twice in the head, first with his right foot, and then the more obvious one, a softer, left-footed swipe.

We've all seen on many occasions where refs will issue cards for this behavior, some even red cards. I hope no one on this chat board condones any retaliatory acts of violence, whether it's aimed at athletes or politicians. There's already enough craziness in this world. Life is already too short for the consequences that result from that kind of sick thinking and actions.
Merry Christmas!

Suspicious but not enough evidence to prove it was intentional.

Just reported by Keith/Swansea Independent, BBC, and others that McLean admitted to the egregious foul, and thus received a 3-match ban instead of denying it and receiving a 6-match ban since there was sufficient video evidence of his foul.

If you kick someone in the head on a night out you’re looking at an assault charge, but there’s a long history of players assaulting people on the pitch and it very rarely attracts police attention. I remember Duncan Ferguson going to prison for a headbutt on a Dundee United player, but it’s a strange situation where people can kick others in the head deliberately on camera with hundreds of thousands of witnesses and don’t face any legal action.
