I was gonna say the same thing 😂. Until I I just saw he is going to league one. Not sure if that's a good move or not? We joke, but would they not rather have him gain further experience in the championship and not 2 leagues down? [Post edited 16 Jan 20:51]

That decision alone probably justifies our coaches not selecting him, I must be wrong when I said he was decent.

Might be a bit controversial but Casey didn't blow me away with his performances. Not saying Burgess is immune from his moments, but Casey was just there for me. I might be wrong and he might be eventually a good championship player but Premier league?

He is a decent young player who came here and did the job we wanted him to do. That’s why the Swans got him in. Best of luck to him. As I said had these loans not been brought in there would have been meltdowns. But what’s best for Swansea City isn’t replacing permanent transfers or the club captain who despite failings this season (Burgess) he wasn’t in the minds of two consecutive managers to oust our first choice players.

I remember when Marc Guehi was here on loan. He didn't set the world on fire his first few games and had to bide his time and it was only an injury crisis that have him his shot. Look at him now.

Yep, he was poor when he first got here but then started to flourish. As you say, now look at him 👏
