Glad to say I was in the four plus points in the last nine games and 66% of our fans already proven wrong after game two of nine.
Does this then make us the most negative and pessimistic of fan bases.
I doubt not one person would predict after four games and four losses and zero goals and twelve conceded.
And then the next two both wins nine goals scored and two conceded.
The phrase is WTAF !!!!!!
We certainly seem to have more of our fair share of the morbidly pessimistic on this forum. Negativity infests the damn thing. This poll says it all.
The thing with the Championship is that results between most of the teams are more or less random and losing and winning runs follow each other with little pattern or logic. We are far from alone in that. Yet as soon as we have a bit of a losing run or lose to a lower team this forum goes into spasm. More than likely a winning run is just around the corner. I said the same after the Coventry 7-1, if the obvious issues were put right, which they were. Throughout the season all the signs have been that we are a bit stronger than last year imho.
The Opta computer is now predicting 61.82 points and 12th place, with nil chance of relegation and 8 chances in 10,000 of promotion.

We would need seven out of seven wins and we might sneak in the top six, if that miracle occurred, so probably Opta having a brainstorm on that one.
Just saying though, the four losses were against Southampton, who have done extremely well recently, Boro, who could be top two this season and Birmingham and Sheffield Utd, who have been improving consistently.
All can say, is the Championship is a mad kind of league, and these weird runs, both good and bad, can happen for most clubs. We seem to specialise in this ourselves.
